What is Picquot Ware?
It is made of ‘Magnailiuman’, an aluminum alloy developed specifically for the range, that polishes up beautifully whilst retaining that lovely vintage patina. The handle is made of sycamore wood. We leave the wood as we find it unless it’s in very poor condition.
How do you clean Picoware?
To clean Picquot ware, put in one tablespoon of Vanish Oxi Action powder and fill with warm water. Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse well. It works for tea stains in mugs as well.
How do you clean Magnalium?
Picquot Ware is made of magnailium, which is an alloy that is polished, not plated, so the mirror-like finish is fairly easily maintained. The manufacturer recommends cleaning in HOT water, and polishing to dry with a soft, dry cloth – a silver polishing cloth is appropriate. DO NOT put Piquot Ware in the dishwasher!
