How long does it take to hear back from fit?
Approximately two weeks after your online application has been successfully submitted, you will receive an email with your FIT user ID and password. This will allow you to check the status of your application and to see if additional materials have been received on the FIT Online Information System.
Does fit require letters of recommendation?
While new FIT applicants do not apply for merit scholarships, we welcome outside awards you may have received. Check out the financial aid website for more information. Does FIT accept letters of recommendation? Letters of recommendation are not considered in the admissions process.
Is Fit easy to get into?
Last year Fashion Institute of Technology’s acceptance rate was 44.0. As you can see, Fashion Institute of Technology is getting more and more difficult to get into. If this trend continue it’s likely that FIT will be even more competitive by the time you apply.
