Not one, but two large Beatles box sets from the collection to feature in this post…. Why? Well, both are Australian editions of “The Beatles Collection” – a box containing all twelve official Beatles studio album releases, plus one disc of “Rarities”. But the two examples of this box-set here differ in quite a few ways and are worth noting.
Are there any Beatles records in good condition?
Vinyl Very Good Condition. Slightly worn outside edges of gold box. Inside sleeves as new. Limited edition number 2728 of 4000 Records in excellent condition played only once if at all. The Beatles EP Collection – genuine & never played! This rare Beatles record box set of 13 albums plus the magical mystery tour booklet with 2 EP’s is up for sale.
What did the Beatles Blue Box look like?
It was also a lot more flimsy in construction: These original Australian blue boxes were textured on the outside and had the title “The Beatles Collection” in gold lettering and the signatures of each band member reproduced along the bottom, but the rear of the box was plain:

But, a little surprisingly, “The Beatles For Sale” was still in its unique yellow Australian cover: “Sgt Pepper” is in a single cardboard sleeve, “The White Album” came with all the inserts, “Let It Be” has the red Apple logo on the back cover, and you still get the “Rarities” LP, only this time it’s on the black and silver Parlophone label:

When did the Beatles release their first album in Australia?
The Beatles’ Australian releases were largely the same as their UK ones, with a few exceptions. Several unique singles were compiled – including the German language songs – as were a range of EPs in the mid 1960s.
