What is IB EE?
The extended essay is an independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper. One component of the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) core, the extended essay is mandatory for all students.
What is TOK teacher?
TOK teachers are guides with goals and plans for reaching them. They foster a class culture within which students feel respected and safe to venture their thoughts. They have some overview of knowing themselves, and design activities to encourage students down paths of “structured inquiry”.

How do we know what we know Tok?
We call them the eight ways of knowing: sense perception, reason, language, memory, intuition, faith, imagination and emotion. You will make links between various areas of knowledge whilst evaluating the boundaries that confine them.
How is faith a way of knowing?
Faith is a new way of knowing in Theory of Knowledge. It does not rely on proof and often clashes with knowledge provided. For many people, faith is a key way in which they can try to understand and explain the world. People argue that faith is an act of trust and an example of knowledge that is not evidence based.
