The Sadler England is impressed around the mark on the bottom if that can narrow down a year. The gold I was inquiring about is on the bottom of the main piece. How much does a blue Sadler teapot cost?
From what I can tell, the blue marks were used quite a bit around the 1950s and not as much later on. So, the color of the mark doesn’t really change the value, but it helps narrow the date down some. It has a current market replacement cost in the range of $50 to $75 depending on the condition.
