Disney has maintained a reputation of airing some of the best television serials of all time, which are classic and evergreen. The Proud Family, one such animated serial which was successfully aired from 2001 to 2005 with 52 episodes in 4 season is getting ready to make a comeback.
Recently, Tommy Davidson, who had voiced over for one of the main characters, Oscar Proud, said that The Proud Family serial is set to come on Disney sometime soon. Viewers and fans have been enthralled since then and are excited to know about its details. The wait had been of long fourteen years but this news confirmation has delighted the viewers.
The leading cast of the serial included Oscar Proud, Penny Proud, Suga mama, Trudy Proud, Bebe & Cece Proud, Sticky Webb, Nubia Gross, Dijonay Jones, and Zoey Howzer. Albeit, it is confirmed that the serial will be back soon and is under process, not much is known about the cast that will be returning. Whether all the characters return or will there be some additions or deletions, is yet to be seen.

Earlier it was telecasted on the Disney channel among the many other comic animated serials, but this time it is gearing up to make its entry back into Disney’s new online streaming app, Disney+. This app is all set to launch this November and excitement is pretty palpable among the fans.
Although the news statement has been given by Tommy Davidson about the reboot, nothing yet has been confirmed by Disney’s end. I hope we get the official confirmation soon.
