We all know season two of Mind Hunter is here for fans to watch and even though it’s too premature to guess already if we will be getting the next season or not. However, that does not stop us from speculating, does it?
Writer Joe Penhall had already hinted in an interview to the Metro that he had a “five-season bible” for the show, which suggests there is a plan for more seasons.
Even star holy McCallany told PopCulture.com we are hopeful that we will get to do the whole five seasons because the audience seems to have really responded to the show, people like the show. Moreover, we’re very proud of the show and very excited to keep making the show.”
Looking at the comments by the team of the show look like we might get a season three as well, but for the time being, we will have to wait. Why?
Well if you look at the patter season one came on October 2017 and season 2 in August 2018 in such a case even if Netflix recommissions the show at the earliest then too it will take the least of two years for the makers to come up with a new season altogether. That means no new season till 2021.
Talking of the cast in season three the leads will be dual leads of Jonathan Groff and FBI Agent Holen Ford and Holly McCallany as Bill Tench. The beloved Netflix drama about serial killers in real life and real-life FBI agents is one of the most-watched nonfiction shows on the streaming service.
Given the timeline, in season three we could see interviews with Ted Bundy, Lawrence Bittaker and ROY Norris who were nicknamed the Toolbox Killers and Hansen who’s more popularly known as the Butcher baker.
