The Jon-E will not stay lit for very long. We’ve tried regular lighter fluid, Naptha, as well as the Jon-E fluid. The Platinum Catalyst Warmer may not get as hot but it stays lit with any fluid and does not gas you out. Definitely would not recommend.

I use a standard Zippo with the standard cotton and wick. The denatured alcohol is a little harder to light than the naptha and sometimes takes more than one attempt. Also, it can leak through the wick a bit more if you carry the lighter upside down in your pocket rather than on a belt pouch.
