Gamers all around the world had a great 2018 as much major game sequel dropped including God Of War and Red Dead Redemption 2. There are still many game sequels that a large number of gamers are waiting for and the rest of the year could prove to be full of surprises.
The following are few popular sequels that may be announced soon or maybe released soon:-
1. The Last of Us Part 2:
Every gamer on this planet wants The Last of Us 2 to release as soon as possible. It has been the most wanted game for quite some time having won an award for the same in 2018. However, some sources confirm that the sequel is in fact in development and will like to be released in the near future.
Since the first game is a proven masterpiece, the developer Naughty Dog is probably taking time so that it can meet the high expectations set by the predecessor. Also, the release date can be announced any day since Sony didn’t participate in E3 2019.
2. Watch Dogs: Legion
Ubisoft announced the third installment in the Watch Dogs series titled Watch Dogs Legion. They also announced that the game is set to be released on March 6, 2020. The game is apparently set in a future dystopian post-Brexit Britain and has the ability to control multiple characters.
The concept of the game seems interesting. Let’s hope that it lives up to the hype.
3. DOOM ETERNAL
A direct sequel to one of the best games of 2016, that should have received much more attention than it did, is set to be released on November 22, 2019.
According to the developer Bethesda-
