5 Reasons Why Matt Reeves ‘The Batman Trilogy’ Might Be Better Than Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Trilogy’

The Batman franchise has had many directors on its steering wheel over the years, with the latest one being Mark Reeves. In such a case to leave a mark on the audience, Reeves has to work hard.

It is being alleged that Reeves’s Batman might turn out to be better than Christopher Nolan’s Batman.

Here are five reasons why it might be true,

1) Warner Brothers are counting on this movie to save the DC universe.

It looks like it’s not only the world that Reeves’s cape crusader is trying to save but the DC universe as well. The past few films of the DC universe have failed to create such an impact on the audience in such a case we all are counting on Reeves Batman to save the all.

2) Reeves impeccable track record:

As someone who created one of the best Planet of Apes movie and someone who has always been applauded for his unprecedented sense of mission, Reeves surely has something new to show us about the Cape Crusader. Reeves has also said he wants to make sure that “The Batman” returns as “Bruce Wayne” and his caped crusader alter-ego to the noir, detective world from which he originally came.

3) It has an entirely new cast:

The franchise ran into a series if troubles after Ben Affleck backed out of the movie last moment, but maybe all of it was for good indeed. The film’s script had to be entirely rewritten, ensuring some significant changes.

4) Reeves himself pushing his limits:

In a recent interview with Yahoo Movies giving a tribute to Cristopher Nolan’s trilogy, the director agreed that it was the time that the genre did more than the production was expected of it. What studios are willing to make at the moment is a very, very narrow band of films,” Reeves said. “What I discovered is that this genre has the potential to be something more. You can use the metaphors of the genre to a lot talk about it.”

5) A unique sense of perspective:

Reeves also pointed out in the interview that unlike other projects that remained anonymous, Nolan’s trilogy had a unique essence to it. Making the character feel like it belonged only to him, Mark himself is planning to go with a similar approach.

It’s trying to allow a perspective to come through despite the fact that we’re in this vast studio movie world,” Reeves said

Mark Reeves’s Batman currently is aiming for a 2019 release date starring Robert Pattinson.
